Daniil Koronkevich — sound engineer, composer, theatrical sound designer. His attention to sound as environment stems from his earlier job as geophysicist, in which kind he largely traveled to many remote territories of Russia — Altai, Chukotka, and Kola Peninsula.
In his current works, he is driven by intention to transpose and scale those unique soundscapes through his music creations.
Participant of the New Media Lab (New Stage of Alexandrinsky Theatre, 2016). He worked in the theaters: Alexandrinsky and Upsala-Circus (St.Petersburg), Old House (Novosibirsk), Vaba Lava (Tallinn). Author of music for many productions, among them “Chuk and Gek”, “Dust”, “Feathers”, “Not in vain”, “Üleminekuaja inimesed”. He made sound design for animation short films “An Observer”, “Ship of generations”, “What can an atom do”, “Big”.
As a sound engineer and sound producer, he works with a composer Xenia Fedorova and her project Kubikmaggi (Ocean Sound Records, Giske, Norway).
