Alexander Belousoff — director and composer.

He studied in Kiev Conservatory, in Boris Yukhananov’s Studio of individual direction and in the Laboratory of Anatoly Vasilyev.
Author / director of operas “Maniosis”, “Maniosis 2” and “The Book of Seraphim” and composer for many productions of Stanislavsky Electrotheatre: “Thunderstorm”, “Dostoevsky FM”, “Maids”, “MEDEAMATERIAL”, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “Engagement”, “Pelican”, and, together with Oleg Makarov, “Before the sunset”.
Among his other projects — «DONNERSTAG», «Steine», «AVIA», «Selbst».
Director of the theater play “The Gamblers” (2001, Contemporary Arts Center “Dakh”) based on Dmitri Shostakovich’ iponymus opera, director of “Noosferatu” and “Golem” — films based on theatre plays of Boris Yukhananov.
Soundtracks for films: “Nazidanie” (2017), “Travel to Durango” (2008-9), “МЕМО” (2013), etc. Curator of performance series “Electrostatics” and “Electrodynamics” in the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre, Moscow.
